Focus on Shopping

Shopping in the old Market Towns offers a different experience to that available in nearby Swindon and Oxford.

Traditional shopping with a difference

Shops FaringdonVisitors to the picturesque town centres of Abingdon, Faringdon and Wantage can enjoy a pleasant and relaxed shopping environment. The towns have a traditional but lively mix of shops most of which are family run businesses. Abingdon, Faringdon and Wantage are the towns for you if you favour friendly staff and continue to be delighted by products and services that can only be provided by small traditional businesses.

The three towns also host Farmers' Markets once a month. These offer fresh farm produce and traditional fare. When you need a break from shopping there are plenty of tea shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs for a drink, meal or snack.
