One of the last follies built in England, the 104ft high tower was a 21st birthday present from Lord Berners for his young friend Robert Heber Percy. It is open to the public on the first Sunday of the month from April to October, high days and holidays and by arrangement.
There is a small admission charge, but throughout June a free ticket will be given away with every meal purchased at the Portwell Angel.
