Faringdon Festival – Photo Competition 2010

Conditions for Entry:
Entry to this competition is open to all except professionals
Categories: Age up to 11 years
Age from 12 -16 years
Adults (from 17 upwards)
Subjects: Faces – anyones, anywhere
Motion – open to your interpretation, just movement essential
Number of Entries: Each person may submit up to 3 photos in both subject areas
Any photos entered must not have won any previous competitions, and must have been taken since January 1 2009
The size of the print is limited to 5” x 7” (12cm x 18cm), mounted on card which must not exceed A4 size
Equipment: The photos may have been taken by any camera or phone
Closing date: Sunday June 20th
Exhibition: This will be in the Pump rooms over the weekend of 9th July, where the winning entries, plus many others will be exhibited
Judges: Al Cane and Jenny Stenhouse
Prizes: Subject to sponsorship! The main aim is to encourage many new local photographers who have been too timid to enter anything before
All photos submitted should be given in to: The Portwell Angel Wine Bar, Market Place, Faringdon, and after the Festival will be there for collection.
