White Horse Leisure & Tennis Centre

A modern purpose built leisure centre with an excellent swimming pool, tennis courts, squash courts, sports hall and fitness centre.

Tilsley Park

The facilities at Tilsley Park include an eight lane athletics track with 300 seater covered grandstand: two astro-turf pitches for football and hockey with a 200 seater grandstand in between the two; a multisport area for tennis, netball and junior cycling, all of which are floodlit. Tilsley Park was built on 43 acres of parkland donated to the Vale of White Horse District Council by the family of the late John Tilsley Greening. In whose memory this facility is named.

Faringdon Leisure Centre

Faringdon Leisure Centre is located within the pleasant sports ground of Faringdon School on the outskirts of the town, yet is only a short walk from the town centre. The location gives easy access to the major roads leading to Swindon, Abingdon and Shrivenham, and has its own parking facilities. The dual-use centre serves the leisure and recreational needs of the local community during evenings, weekends and school holidays, while catering for both the school and public during term time.

Faringdon Leisure Centre offers an air conditioned gym with the latest fitness equipment; indoor swimming pool, spa pool, steam room and sauna to relax in after your swim; fully trained gym instructors; large sports hall for a variety of racquet sports, ball games and junior courses; two squash courts with viewing area; activities room offering a full programme of all the latest workout classes; creche facilities during the day.

Wantage Leisure Centre

Wantage Leisure Centre is located within the pleasant sports ground of King Alfred's School on the outskirts of the town, yet it is only a short walk from the town centre. The location gives easy access to the major roads leading to Newbury, Swindon, Abingdon and Faringdon, and has its own parking facilities. The dual-use centre serves the leisure and recreational needs of the local community during the evenings, weekends and school holidays, while catering for both the school and public during term time.

Wantage Leisure Centre offers an air conditioned gym with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment and cardio-theatre;indoor swimming pool and sauna for fitness and fun; large sports hall for a variety of racquet sports, ball games, and gymnastics; aerobics studio offering a full programme of all the latest workout classes; personal training and Fitech Fitness/cholesterol testing services; indoor cycling classes;
